As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Motive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Mid-Market sales segment by acquiring new business from companies operating 50-174 trucks across the United States. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver Motive's value proposition effectively. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement within our rapidly growing sales organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include driving new business acquisitions to meet or exceed monthly revenue quotas. You will lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, conducting sales meetings, discovery, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals. Maintaining a high level of outbound lead generation through cold calling and strategic outreach is essential, as is collaborating with departments such as Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.

We are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent SaaS closing experience, and at least 2 years in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry. A proven track record of achieving quotas in new business, outbound sales roles is required. Experience working with Sales Engineers and Sales Development Representatives is advantageous. Ideal candidates are self-starters comfortable in fast-paced environments, demonstrate a strong ownership attitude throughout the sales process, and embody a growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The compensation for this role ranges from $142,000 to $197,000 in on-target earnings, with uncapped commissions and equity opportunities.
