Mr D Product Manager - Fulfilment
The Mr D Product Manager - Fulfilment will oversee the order fulfilment product portfolio within Mr D, a division of Takealot Group. This role involves managing the customer journey from restaurant order acceptance through delivery, including order tracking, delivery timelines, and driver assignments. The position reports to the Product Lead (Order Fulfilment) and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include managing the execution and rollout of order fulfilment features across the Mr D platform, writing detailed product specifications, and collaborating with engineering and design teams. The role also involves defining and reporting on order fulfilment success metrics, monitoring and analyzing data to identify optimization opportunities, and contributing to the product strategy and roadmap. Additionally, the Product Manager will engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage relationships between Mr D and Takealot Fulfilment Services.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or 5 years in a software development-related role, with a Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field. Strong technical acumen for integration, understanding of machine learning and AI concepts, and the ability to write specifications using both traditional and AI-accelerated methods are essential. Experience with analyzing data to inform product decisions is also required.
