New York Debt Finance Associate Attorney

In this position, the associate will be responsible for representing lenders, borrowers, and corporate clients in a broad range of debt finance transactions, including leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and syndicated lending. Day-to-day activities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documentation, coordinating with clients and counterparties, managing deal execution, and providing regulatory and transactional advice. The associate will also actively participate in client meetings and support junior team members as needed.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the New York State Bar. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of relevant experience at a top-tier law firm with a focus on debt finance, strong drafting and negotiations skills, and a demonstrated ability to work on complex financing deals. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.
