New York Real Estate Associate Attorney
Clifford Chance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced mid-level to senior associate attorney to join its Real Estate team in New York. This role involves handling a variety of large and complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and leasing. The position also includes supervising junior attorneys within the team.
Key responsibilities include managing and executing complex real estate transactions, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, and providing strategic legal advice to clients. The associate will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and overseeing the work of junior attorneys to maintain the firm's standards of excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school with high academic achievement. Experience in real estate transactions, particularly in joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and/or leasing, is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a strong interest in real estate law, exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, and be a team player. Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in is required, along with prior experience in a peer law firm.
Clifford Chance offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $435,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
