Operations Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an Operations Paralegal to join their Premises Operations Department in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is integral to the firm's mission of advocating for consumer rights across the United States.

As an Operations Paralegal, you will oversee multiple project activities to accomplish strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing attorney calendars to schedule depositions, coordinating with courts and defense counsel to set dates, ensuring timely dispatch of demands, and maintaining case progression with minimal oversight. Additionally, you may audit attorney and staff tasks, establish and execute processes to enhance operational efficiency, and ensure that attorney cases are filed within 90 days. You will also set and monitor deadlines for attorneys, assist in trial preparation, conduct legal research, manage file documentation, and coordinate pre-trial and trial activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of legal terminology and have three to five years of paralegal experience. A paralegal degree or certification from an accredited institution is required, along with a strong understanding of Florida law. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards, with impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality is crucial.
