Bird is seeking an Operations Partner in Denver, CO, to collaborate with the local City Operations Manager in overseeing the e-scooter fleet. This role is integral to ensuring the fleet is well-maintained and strategically deployed to meet the community's transportation needs. The ideal candidate should possess a proactive attitude, strong time-management skills, and clear communication abilities.

As an Operations Partner, your primary responsibilities will include managing the complete operation of the assigned portfolio, which involves charging, deploying, relocating, and retrieving vehicles. Utilizing mobile technology, you will monitor, transport, rebalance, and maintain the e-scooters to ensure their availability and safety for riders.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have a registered business LLC, general liability insurance, and general commercial auto insurance, or the ability to acquire them within 30 days of onboarding. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related duties are essential. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of the local geography, flexible availability including weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfort with learning new concepts and tools, along with the capability to simplify complex problems into actionable tasks, is also required.

This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role. As such, you will be responsible for your own tools, equipment, and any associated expenses required to complete your work. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and workload to meet the operational needs of Bird.
