Operations Specialist
CHeKT is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Operations Specialist will manage calendars, coordinate travel and team events, and prepare materials for meetings and presentations. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth office operations, assisting with budgeting, purchase orders, expense tracking, and managing vendor relationships. The role also involves coordinating cross-departmental projects, tracking deadlines, and implementing AI-driven tools to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity.
Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in operations, project management, customer service, administrative, or analytical roles, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred, though relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, project management software, and finance/accounting systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive work ethic are also required.
This in-office position is based at the CHeKT headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana, requiring attendance five days a week.
