This role involves supporting attorneys in various corporate and securities transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border projects. The position is based in Chicago and offers the opportunity to work with a global team on complex, high-value transactions.

Key responsibilities include assisting attorneys at all stages of corporate transactions, such as entity formation, corporate due diligence, and corporate maintenance. The Paralegal will draft and prepare corporate documents, manage minute books, and coordinate with global offices to ensure compliance with local regulations. Additionally, the role involves preparing closing checklists, tracking timelines, and contributing to process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in a transactional legal context, with a Bachelor's Degree required and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent writing and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Baker McKenzie offers a competitive compensation package, with the US base salary for this position expected to be between $100,000 and $140,000 annually.
