Paralegal

This Paralegal position supports the Business & Legal Affairs (BLA) team at Hayu, NBCUniversal's all-reality subscription video-on-demand service. Hayu operates in 45 markets globally, including the UK, Ireland, Australia, and Canada, offering over 300 shows and 10,000 episodes. The BLA team handles legal matters related to Hayu's operations, distribution, and marketing.

Key responsibilities include assisting with legal work for the Hayu Marketing team, such as drafting marketing agency agreements and managing legal aspects of fan events and activations. The role also involves supporting the Product team by reviewing and amending technical product statements of work and order forms for services like SaaS products. Additionally, the paralegal will draft competition terms, ensure compliance with local laws, maintain vendor lists, track legal and regulatory updates, and help implement AI tools to streamline legal processes.

Candidates should have in-house paralegal experience, ideally in marketing, consumer, or technology sectors. Experience with AI tools for process implementation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and communication skills, proactive thinking, and the ability to manage a broad workload are essential. Applicants must be able to work in the United Kingdom.
