Paralegal/PI Specialist
The Paralegal/PI Specialist position at Leander Independent School District (LISD) is a full-time role within the Legal Services department, reporting directly to the General Counsel. Additionally, the role involves assisting the General Counsel with various legal issues and performing assigned legal research tasks.
Candidates must possess an associate degree in legal studies or an equivalent combination of training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job. Experience as a paralegal is required, with a preference for those who have worked in public school districts or have litigation experience. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $33.25, with additional compensation for approved work experience. The role is full-time, encompassing 237 workdays per year.
