Paralegal
Pine Tree Legal Assistance (PTLA) is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our team committed to providing high-quality legal services to underserved communities. As a Paralegal at PTLA, you will work closely with attorneys and clients to support our mission of ensuring access to justice for all.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files. Your day-to-day tasks will include interviewing clients, preparing pleadings, and assisting attorneys in court proceedings. Additionally, you will coordinate with external agencies and maintain accurate records to support case management.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. A minimum of an associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field is required, along with prior experience in a legal setting.
