Paralegal (Records)

Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a Paralegal (Records) to join their Chicago office. This role is integral to the firm's insurance defense litigation practice, focusing on personal injury law. The position is fully onsite, located at 666 Dundee Road, Suite 303, Northbrook, IL 60062.

The Paralegal (Records) will be responsible for obtaining and organizing records, adhering to client guidelines for record vendors, tracking and following up on outstanding records, and keeping attorneys informed of record statuses. Additional duties include assisting with document management, file organization, trial preparation, and providing backup receptionist coverage as needed.

Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat is required. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Meeting a billable requirement of 50 hours per month is also expected.

The compensation package includes an hourly pay range of $30-$38, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate. Paralegals are eligible for an annual bonus ranging from $250 to $3,000.
