Partner Sales Manager - Hewlett Packard Enterprise, India
The Partner Sales Manager at Canonical will be responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in India. This role focuses on increasing Canonical's market share, promoting the partnership, and driving business interactions across various levels within HPE, from engineers to C-suite executives. The position is remote, based in India, and involves regular travel, including international trips, to foster partnerships and attend events.
Key responsibilities include developing strategic relationships with HPE teams, building and managing a business pipeline through HPE, and enhancing HPE's awareness of open-source capabilities on Canonical's Ubuntu platform. The role also entails delivering on sales targets, conducting customer workshops, participating in sales events, and contributing to broader strategic initiatives as defined by the HPE Global Alliance Director.
Candidates should have experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, strong sales acumen with the ability to build and manage a business pipeline, and a proactive, hands-on approach. A deep understanding of Linux, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, are also required. Familiarity with HPE's products, go-to-market strategies, and field operations is highly desirable. Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events is expected.
