Payroll Incident & Risk Lead
Remote is seeking a Payroll Incident & Risk Lead to oversee global payroll risk and incident management. This leadership role involves developing and executing risk management frameworks, leading incident response efforts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Payroll Strategy & Compliance team. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing global risk management frameworks for payroll operations, leading cross-functional risk assessments, and managing the global payroll risk register. The role also involves serving as the escalation point for complex payroll incidents, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and collaborating with various teams to implement system and process improvements.
Candidates should have extensive experience in payroll risk management, incident response, compliance, or operations management, preferably in global payroll, finance, SaaS, or regulated industries. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in mentoring or managing teams in a remote-first environment are essential. Familiarity with tools like Notion, and RCA methodologies is a plus.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $49,900 to $112,300 USD.
