People Associate

Wolt is seeking a People Associate to join our global People Support Hub in Timișoara, Romania. This role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your HR career within a rapidly growing tech company that operates in over 500 cities across 30 countries. As a People Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and contributing to the development of our HR processes.

In this position, you will assist Wolt employees with their daily HR inquiries across various countries, educate them on self-service options for basic HR needs, and escalate complex matters to People Specialists when necessary. Your responsibilities will include creating employment-related documents, onboarding new employees into our HR system (Workday), maintaining accurate data, and collaborating closely with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate salary payments. Additionally, you will work alongside our Budapest-based People Services HUB team on cross-country projects and initiatives aimed at improving our HR processes and service experience.

The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in people's lives through HR and possesses a strong customer service attitude. You should be enthusiastic about digital technologies and AI, have a background in HR studies or practical HR/customer service experience, and enjoy working in a structured manner. A growth mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required, and knowledge of other languages is considered a valuable asset.
