People Operations Working Student

Wellhub is seeking a People Operations Working Student to join their Berlin-based team, dedicated to enhancing employee experiences across Europe. This role offers exposure to key HR areas such as employment law, payroll, and HR systems like Personio, within a dynamic international setting.

In this position, you will address and resolve employee inquiries, support payroll processing by accurately entering and validating HR data, assist with internal audits and compliance documentation, and maintain precise HR records in Personio to inform data-driven decisions. Additionally, you'll contribute to process optimization and strategic People projects throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.

Ideal candidates are university students currently enrolled in HR, Business, or related fields, available to work 15–20 hours per week. Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English at a C1+ level is required. Applicants should be based in Berlin and able to work on-site 2–3 times per week. The role demands discretion in handling confidential information, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and development in HR operations.
