Privacy Analyst
The Privacy Analyst position at Wiz offers an exciting opportunity for a privacy professional to join a rapidly growing B2B cybersecurity company. This role focuses on the intersection of privacy, data protection, and emerging AI governance, emphasizing risk management. The analyst will collaborate closely with the global Data Protection & AI team and various internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate privacy and AI-related risks across Wiz's ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include supporting Wiz's enterprise privacy and AI risk management program through risk evaluation, classification, and implementation of mitigation strategies. The analyst will perform data protection and AI regulatory risk assessments across Wiz's ecosystem, encompassing third-party vendors, internal systems, and product-related use cases. Additionally, the role involves refining and evolving Wiz's third-party risk management framework and procedures in alignment with the company's growth and business needs, while building strong, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or AI risk management programs, with a preference for backgrounds in B2B SaaS, technology companies, or cybersecurity. Familiarity with global data protection and AI regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, as well as AI governance frameworks like the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF, is essential. A general understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks, including ISO and SOC 2 standards, is also required. Strong analytical skills, the ability to translate risk findings into actionable recommendations, and effective collaboration and communication with both technical and non-technical teams are crucial. Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced tech environment, along with the ability to multitask and comprehend legal and data-related risks in various use cases, is highly valued.
