Product Architect
The Product Architect at Numerix will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of front-to-risk solutions for the financial markets industry. This senior individual contributor position reports directly to the Head of Engineering, Oneview, and serves as a trusted partner to Engineering leadership. The role is based in London with remote opportunities available in Ireland.
In this capacity, the Product Architect will collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Analysts, Development Leads, and Software Architects to translate complex business and product requirements into clear, end-to-end solution designs. Responsibilities include decomposing intricate features and workflows into implementable solutions, identifying business rules, dependencies, edge cases, and cross-functional impacts, and ensuring development readiness by refining requirements and related artifacts. The role also involves producing logical solution designs, workflow definitions, and interface specifications to guide implementation.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree or professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or PRM being advantageous. A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial technology, capital markets software, quantitative analytics, product development, financial engineering, business analysis, or solution architecture is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise financial software platforms and the ability to operate across business, product, quantitative, and engineering discussions.
