Product Communication & Public Relations - Oncology Lead (Contract)
The Product Communication & Public Relations - Oncology Lead (Contract) role at Legend Biotech is a full-time contract position supporting the US Commercial organization for CARVYKTI, a BCMA-targeted CAR-T therapy. This role focuses on executing product communications within a highly regulated oncology environment, reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy, and collaborating closely with US Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory/Legal teams, external agencies, and a co-promotion partner.
Key responsibilities include executing US product communications plans for CARVYKTI, aligning communications with brand strategy and field needs, and managing external communications across media relations, sponsored content, public relations, digital and social media. The role also involves translating complex clinical and real-world data into clear narratives, developing briefing materials for executives and clinicians, managing agency deliverables, serving as a liaison with the co-promotion partner, ensuring compliance through CCRC or PARC review, and tracking communications metrics for optimization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field, with over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare communications, particularly in oncology or specialty care. Experience supporting US commercial teams, managing agencies, and executing communications in a regulated environment is essential. Familiarity with US medical congresses, strong execution-focused communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly visible franchise are also required.
This contract role is set through the remainder of 2026. Please note that contractors are not eligible for benefits through Legend Biotech.
