Product, IP, and AI Counsel

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Product, IP, and AI Counsel to join its Cybersecurity and Technology legal team. This role focuses on supply chain risk management, cybersecurity, and emerging AI and intellectual property initiatives within the federal sector. The position offers an opportunity to influence the security and resilience of federal operations and technology development.

The counsel will define and implement company-wide legal strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks across third-party relationships, including hardware, software, cloud services, and AI vendors. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating security, risk-sharing, and compliance provisions within complex contractual documents, as well as providing legal support on cybersecurity incident analysis and response.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in a state bar. A minimum of three years of significant legal experience concentrated in cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and/or government contracting is required. Preferred qualifications include deep subject matter expertise in these areas, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and proficiency in drafting and negotiating sophisticated contracts and policies.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $141,700 to $276,800 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The role is primarily remote, with flexibility in scheduling, though occasional in-person meetings in the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia areas may be necessary for key leadership engagements and industry conferences.
