Product Localisation Specialist, Amsterdam
As the Netherlands Localisation Partner at Canva, you will play a pivotal role in tailoring the Canva experience to Dutch users. This position is part of the International Supergroup, focusing on enhancing cultural relevance and user engagement within the Dutch market. Canva is a global design platform committed to making design accessible to everyone, and this role is central to that mission in the Netherlands.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing Canva's localisation strategy for the Netherlands, ensuring the platform resonates culturally and linguistically with Dutch users. You will collaborate closely with product, growth, and regional teams to integrate local market insights into the product roadmap. Analyzing user and subscription data to identify friction points and growth opportunities will be key, as well as providing cultural insights to inform experiments, feature launches, and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, you will adapt global product surfaces, campaigns, and messaging to align with Dutch user preferences and work with the Dutch Language Manager and external partners to deliver high-quality language experiences.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Dutch users and the ability to translate cultural insights into impactful product experiences. Experience in product growth, localisation, content design, or marketing within the Netherlands is essential, along with a background in SaaS, product-led, or high-growth tech environments. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, as well as proficiency in using data to evaluate performance and drive improvements across user funnels. Success in this role requires thriving in cross-functional environments and effectively influencing product, marketing, and engineering teams.
