Product Manager, Courier Compliance
Wolt is seeking a Product Manager to join its Courier Group's Compliance Team. This team is dedicated to ensuring that Wolt's courier platform operates within diverse regulatory environments while providing a seamless and trusted experience for couriers, third-party service providers, and internal teams. The role focuses on identity verification, document management, classification, privacy safeguards, and scalable compliance automation.
As the Product Manager for Compliance, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, analysts, and product professionals. Your primary responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for courier compliance, balancing business scalability, user trust, and regulatory integrity. You will engage with country teams to understand local regulatory requirements and cultural nuances, work closely with legal and operations partners, and ensure that compliance processes are seamlessly integrated across the courier lifecycle.
Key responsibilities involve leading multiple projects and cross-team initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. You will partner with Legal, Operations, and Policy teams to design compliance systems that are both locally adaptive and globally scalable. Ensuring that product experiences for different courier models remain distinct and compliant, while driving automation and efficiency in ID verification, document management, and audit workflows, is essential. Developing a deep understanding of couriers, regulators, and internal users will enable you to build solutions that make compliance seamless and effortless for all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Product Manager, preferably within B2C product domains. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and simplify complex legal or technical topics. A combination of analytical ability, technical understanding, and business judgment, along with a proactive mindset, is crucial. A strong track record of working with and coaching cross-functional teams, including engineers, data analysts, finance, legal, and operations, is required. Experience in building globally scalable systems that adapt to local market variations is also highly valued.
