Product Manager
As a Product Manager at Helsing, you will play a pivotal role in discovering and delivering products that unlock new capabilities for our customers. Helsing is a defense AI company dedicated to protecting democracies by achieving technological leadership, enabling open societies to make sovereign decisions and uphold their ethical standards. Our team comprises ambitious engineers, AI specialists, and customer-facing program managers committed to solving complex and impactful problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying the products Helsing needs to build within your domain and orchestrating the company to successfully deliver them. This encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from commercial strategy and go-to-market planning to product design and technical architecture. You will collaborate closely with customers, teammates, and leadership to develop ideas into prototypes and transform prototypes into market-ready products with corresponding business strategies.
The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of product management, spanning commercial and technical aspects. A willingness to navigate uncertainty and lead teams in discovering and co-creating new products with customers is essential. Intellectual curiosity to delve into diverse areas such as radar systems, defense procurement, military doctrine, edge computing, defense-industrial policy, and machine learning techniques is highly valued. Personal attributes that align with our values—ownership, initiative, dedication to mission, speed, and inclusiveness—are crucial.
Helsing offers a focus on outcomes rather than time-tracking, competitive compensation and stock options, relocation support, social and education allowances, and regular company events to foster team cohesion across Europe. We actively encourage healthy, proactive, and diverse debates internally about our work and how we choose to do it, trusting teams and individual engineers to practice responsible autonomy and critical thinking, focusing on outcomes rather than conformity.
