Helsing is seeking a Product Manager to join our Space team, focusing on the development of a cutting-edge Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) reconnaissance satellite constellation. This role involves shaping the product vision and roadmap, particularly emphasizing the AI and software components and their integration with the satellite systems. The position is based in Munich, with a preference for candidates fluent in German to effectively communicate with external stakeholders.

The Product Manager will be responsible for identifying and delivering products that unlock new capabilities for our customers. This includes overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from commercial strategy and go-to-market planning to product design and technical architecture. The role requires navigating ambiguity and complexity, as it involves creating products and technologies that currently do not exist.

Key responsibilities include leading the discovery of new products, co-creating solutions with customers, and developing prototypes into market-ready products with matching business strategies. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, AI specialists, and program managers to ensure successful product delivery.

Candidates should have proven experience in product management, encompassing both commercial and technical aspects, and a track record of taking products from ideation to market. Experience in computer vision and image analysis is essential. A technical background in software engineering or data science is preferred, along with an understanding of integrating AI and software with hardware systems. Fluency in German is required for this role.
