Program Manager, Sports & Entertainment (Onsite)
The Program Manager, Sports & Entertainment will lead the execution of high-impact initiatives within the Sports & Entertainment vertical at Weedmaps, reporting to the Senior Director of Sports & Entertainment. This role is pivotal in driving cross-functional alignment, developing scalable workflows, and ensuring the seamless execution of strategic programs across various departments, including Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, Product, and Creative. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and adept at navigating fast-paced environments, particularly within sports, entertainment, or live-event ecosystems.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end program execution from planning through post-launch analysis, building and maintaining project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional teams, and establishing scalable workflows to enhance operational efficiency. The Program Manager will also drive alignment across multiple departments, proactively identify and mitigate risks, maintain clear stakeholder communication, develop standardized processes for various activations, track budgets and resource allocation, and measure program performance to provide actionable insights.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in program or project management within sports, entertainment, media, or marketing environments. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives, proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet, and strong organizational and communication skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is also required.
The base salary for this position ranges from $77,000 to $84,448 per year.
