Property Manager
The Property Manager will oversee daily operations, leasing, marketing activities, and resident relations for a residential community in Santa Barbara, CA. This role requires developing and leading a team to ensure the property's overall performance aligns with company goals. The Property Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager.
Key responsibilities include managing on-site employees, ensuring they exceed job expectations, and overseeing all aspects of property performance such as human resources, accounting, leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident relations. The Property Manager will develop annual renewal and marketing campaigns to meet leasing objectives, maintain the property budget by controlling expenses, lead all Turn activities to ensure a smooth transition during turnover periods, and implement security protocols in collaboration with the maintenance team.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or comparable experience in the student housing sector, with at least four years in leasing or operations within student housing or residential property management. Experience in people management with the ability to motivate and build a team is essential. A strong track record in customer service and resident relations, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to providing the best resident experience are also required.
The position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $100,000 annually, plus an annual bonus.
