Quality Engineer
Formlabs is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Shenzhen. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing quality systems during the early stages of new product introductions, ensuring our 3D printing hardware meets the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge 3D printing technology.
As a Quality Engineer, you will drive the definition, implementation, and execution of quality plans for both new and existing products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—such as Engineering, Product Management, and Operations—to facilitate seamless product development and launch. Additionally, you will work with manufacturing partners to establish quality control processes, analyze data to identify root causes of failures, and lead corrective actions to maintain our high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) and possesses over 8 years of experience in hardware quality engineering, preferably within consumer electronics, robotics, or related industries. A strong understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving techniques is essential. Proficiency with statistical software such as JMP or Minitab, familiarity with quality management systems like IATF, and quality tools such as FMEA and Control Plans are highly desirable. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to travel up to 40% within the Pearl River Delta are also required.
