Quality Inspector (Skillbridge)
Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Manufacturing/Production teams in Santa Ana, California. The Quality team plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our products, maintaining high standards throughout the manufacturing process.
In this role, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for executing detailed inspection processes to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Daily duties include inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to verify they meet quality specifications. The inspector will also investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Teams to establish and uphold standards, specifications, and processes.
Candidates must have experience with calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including wire diagrams and CAD models, is essential. A solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experience inspecting machined parts, mechanical assemblies, and electrical components like power supplies and PCBs are required. Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100, ISO9001, or IATF 16949 is also necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a technical or associate degree in a related field, over three years of experience in quality assurance or inspection within a manufacturing setting, and certifications like IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620. Experience with manufacturing processes and related systems such as Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, or CAD is advantageous. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player, detail-oriented, and capable of effective communication across cross-functional teams. The ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is also preferred.
