Quantitative Analyst – Legal & Financial Structures
Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join our Corporate/M&A practice. This role is integral to our firm's commitment to delivering comprehensive legal and economic solutions to our clients. The position is fully remote, with working hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST).
The Quantitative Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and modeling complex business structures, executive compensation arrangements, and financial transactions. Key duties include integrating AI-assisted workflows to enhance analytical processes, mapping ownership and incentive structures across various scenarios, stress-testing assumptions to identify economic sensitivities and risks, and developing analytical models to support client matters.
Candidates should possess a PhD or Master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field. Expertise in utilizing AI tools for data modeling and analysis in a professional context is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, the ability to work independently in a remote, high-performance environment, and a keen interest in applying quantitative analysis to legal and financial structures. Prior experience in law is not required.
