As R&D Lead you will lead and coordinate technical work across several research and development projects focused on developing scalable and high-quality quantum devices.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Drive Project Progress
- Identify and manage the critical path across R&D projects
- Prioritise and sequence tasks based on impact and dependencies
- Ensure the team moves forward in a focused and efficient manner
- Develop and Execute Experimental Strategy
- Design and plan experiments
- Define hypotheses and expected outcomes
- Determine what experiments to run and why
- Design Hamiltonians for experimental devices
- Analyse and interpret results
- Document and analyse experimental data
- Represent findings with appropriate data visualisation
- Interpret results and determine next experimental steps
- Communicate outcomes and implications to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Efforts
- Work closely with design, fabrication, and measurement team members
- Ensure R&D cycle is coherent and efficient
- Balance scientific rigor with pragmatic progress
- Maintain alignment with broader project and organisational goals
- Anticipate and Manage Uncertainty
- Identify technical risks and bottlenecks early
