Railroad Grade Crossing Engineering – Project Manager
Benesch is seeking a Grade Crossing Engineering Project Manager to join our nationally recognized Railroad Division. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical railroad safety initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of infrastructure and communities across the country. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in delivering projects that improve rail travel safety and efficiency nationwide.
In this position, you will manage high-profile assignments from planning and analysis through design and construction. Your responsibilities will include leading projects such as traffic signal preemption and coordination at rail grade crossings, railroad grade crossing safety upgrades, traffic operations studies, corridor evaluations, and railroad-roadway interface design and analysis. Additionally, you will build and maintain client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with senior-level experience managing railroad grade crossing safety and traffic signal projects. Hands-on experience with traffic signal operations is preferred. Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation, InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Strong understanding of design standards, codes, and industry best practices, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, is required.
While the role is based in Fort Worth, TX, we are open to fully remote arrangements for the right candidate.
