The Real Estate Strategy Analyst at Waymo plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic real estate decision-making across a dynamic client portfolio. This position blends data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and business case development to drive operational excellence and portfolio strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights. In this hybrid role, the analyst reports to the Senior Director of Global Places and Services.

Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end lifecycle of portfolio data, ensuring high integrity in supply/demand metrics, KPIs, and market health reporting. The analyst will formalize demand forecasts into detailed real estate requirement documents for expansion, consolidation, and sequencing. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining supply/demand models to generate data-driven forecasts for long-term strategic planning. Producing standardized reports and strategic briefings that translate complex analytics into actionable insights for leadership is also a critical function. Serving as a technical liaison, the analyst will define and document technical requirements for the analytics team to ensure dashboards align with business strategy. Executing data-heavy ad-hoc analyses to support business case development and multi-market occupier engagements is another key responsibility.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of four years of experience in data analysis, corporate real estate, or business intelligence is required. Proven ability to create clear, concise documentation and process workflows is essential. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets without compromising accuracy is necessary. The role demands agility to pivot between deep-dive data tasks and collaborative project coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, Python, and Looker. Strategic thinking and financial acumen are highly valued. Experience in leadership and development, client relationship management, data-driven decision-making, and effective communication and collaboration among teams and clients are advantageous.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $151,000 USD annually. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in the company's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
