This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, playing a crucial part in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. The position is fully in-office, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic legal setting and enjoys being an essential part of a legal team.

Key responsibilities include handling a multi-line telephone system, greeting clients and guests professionally, assisting with document management and file organization, preparing binders for attorneys, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting attorneys and staff with various administrative tasks. The Receptionist will also be responsible for preparing files for new matters and operating standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, postage machines, and scanners.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of office experience, preferably within a law firm setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, is required. Candidates must be self-starters who are well-organized, capable of handling multiple tasks, and able to prioritize work effectively. Benefits include comprehensive health, vision, and dental plans, some at no cost to the employee, a 401(k) program with matching contributions, paid parental leave, and a 37.5-hour standard workweek designed to promote balance and prevent burnout. Additional perks include a monthly technology reimbursement, educational reimbursement programs, and numerous social and off-site events to enrich relationships with colleagues.

Joining Tyson & Mendes means becoming part of a collaborative, team-oriented workplace that values diversity, open communication, and professional development.
