Canonical is seeking a Regional BDR Team Manager to lead and mentor a team of 2-10 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs). This role focuses on managing both inbound and outbound sales teams, with the objective of developing high-performing sales professionals and maintaining a multi-million dollar pipeline. Canonical is a global leader in open-source software, known for its Ubuntu platform, which is widely utilized in public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT sectors.

The primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the SDR/BDR team, implementing effective sales development strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. The manager will be expected to analyze team performance data to drive activities and ensure alignment with the company's sales objectives. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt to market changes and innovate outbound approaches.

Candidates should possess excellent academic credentials, holding a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM fields. A strong passion for business development, sales, and technology is essential, along with a proven track record of achieving exceptional outbound sales development results. The role requires commitment to continuous learning, creative problem-solving abilities, and prior leadership experience. Proficiency in using data to inform team activities and drive continuous improvement is also necessary.
