Regulatory Counsel Vice President
FanDuel Group is seeking a Vice President of Regulatory Counsel to lead its regulatory function within the legal team. This role involves overseeing a team of attorneys and regulatory professionals, driving the company's enterprise regulatory strategy, and maintaining FanDuel's position as a trusted brand in the industry. The Vice President will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership and represent the company in engagements with regulators and external partners.
Key responsibilities include owning FanDuel's enterprise regulatory strategy, overseeing regulatory investigations and enforcement actions across all jurisdictions and products, and providing regulatory counsel across the company's suite of products. The role also involves leading and developing a multi-layered team of regulatory attorneys and professionals, managing high-impact regulatory relationships, and establishing investigation and enforcement frameworks. Additionally, the Vice President will partner with senior leaders to ensure visibility into regulatory performance and advise on regulatory risks and strategic opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school and be a member of at least one state bar. They should possess 15+ years of legal experience, preferably including work as a regulator or prosecutor, at a nationally recognized law firm, and in-house counsel experience. Superior stakeholder engagement, analytical, strategic, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills are essential. A strong work ethic, commitment to team collaboration, and the ability to learn quickly in a complex and evolving industry are also important.
FanDuel offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $153,618 to $305,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
