AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Regulatory Engineer to join our team dedicated to building the first global cellular broadband network in space. This role is integral to our mission of eliminating connectivity gaps and bringing broadband to unconnected populations worldwide.

The Regulatory Engineer will be responsible for preparing and submitting applications to national communications regulators, including technical exhibits. The role involves engaging with national, regional, and international regulatory bodies on spectrum and other technical issues, supporting satellite coordination efforts, and advocating for optimized satellite and telecom technical regulatory frameworks.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, with three to eight years of experience in technology, focusing on wireless technologies. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated interest in wireless technology, knowledge of regional technology and policy issues for wireless or satellite companies, technical expertise in satellite link budgets, mobile device standards, and wireless technologies, and a willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
