Reliability Engineer
Graphcore is seeking a Reliability Engineer to ensure the system-level reliability of AI servers featuring liquid cooling and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) architectures. This role is pivotal in validating reliability, assessing shock and vibration robustness, and conducting failure analyses from the board to rack level, ensuring safe transport, deployment, and sustained datacenter operations.
The Reliability Engineer will plan and execute validation processes across board, server, and rack levels. Responsibilities include defining and conducting environmental, accelerated, and mechanical tests such as thermal and power cycling, humidity, corrosion, shock and vibration, and HALT/HASS. The role also involves leading shock and vibration validation for various conditions, assessing reliability risks for liquid cooling systems, evaluating HVDC mechanical and electrical robustness, performing reliability predictions and life data analyses, leading cross-functional design reviews, conducting failure analyses, and maintaining reliability and shock and vibration test specifications.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, or related Engineering fields, along with over 10 years of experience in reliability engineering within AI servers, datacenter systems, HPC, or complex electronics. Essential skills include hands-on experience with environmental, shock, and vibration testing, strong knowledge of reliability methodologies and statistical analysis, practical experience with liquid cooling and HVDC systems, proven failure analysis capabilities, and strong communication skills in English, with Mandarin being a plus.
Graphcore offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, a generous annual leave policy, private medical insurance, a health cash plan, a dental plan, pension matching up to 5%, life assurance, and income protection. The company fosters an inclusive work environment, providing equal opportunities and support for reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
Joining Graphcore means becoming part of a team dedicated to building the future of AI compute. The company values diverse backgrounds and experiences, encouraging continuous learning and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI hardware platforms, contribute to the fast-growing SoftBank AI ecosystem, and make a significant impact on the company's products and the future of artificial intelligence.
