The Revenue Operations Analyst at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role within the Revenue Operations team, which is central to PitchBook's go-to-market engine. This team collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and business growth. The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious, insights-driven analyst who enjoys asking questions, challenging assumptions, and uncovering opportunities within complex datasets.

In this role, the analyst will own weekly and monthly sales performance reporting, covering pipeline, attainment, and pacing. They will manage the WBR/MBR/QBR process end-to-end, including narrative framing and executive-ready dashboards. Additionally, the analyst will build and maintain executive OKR and revenue dashboards across the full go-to-market funnel and post-sale lifecycle, ensuring consistent KPI definitions and reporting standards. They will conduct marketing funnel analytics, campaign ROI measurement, lead routing and distribution analysis, and territory design and capacity planning analytics across global offices. Partnering with Customer Success, the analyst will focus on customer lifecycle, retention, and expansion analytics, building and interpreting reporting from Salesforce, Marketo, and Gong to surface clear, actionable insights. They will also facilitate the forecasting process across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, owning cadence, inputs, scenario reviews, and translation into the business narrative. Proactively generating insights indexed to business impact and validating hypotheses raised by operational, field, or finance leaders will be key responsibilities. The analyst will champion data quality, governance, and KPI consistency across revenue systems, identifying opportunities for automation and advanced analytics in partnership with data science counterparts. Collaboration with RevOps, GTM Operations, Marketing Ops, and business stakeholders to align analytics work to commercial priorities will also be essential.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance, with at least 3 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or finance operations. A solid understanding of B2B go-to-market and revenue metrics, including pipeline health, funnel conversion, retention, expansion, and forecasting, is required. Familiarity with Salesforce reporting is necessary, and experience with Marketo or Gong is a plus. Demonstrated ability to build intuitive dashboards and compelling visualizations that help business leaders understand performance, identify opportunities, and make confident, data-driven decisions across a variety of analytics platforms is essential. Strong command of SQL and hands-on experience querying large datasets in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) are important. The ability to navigate messy, high-volume data and synthesize it into clear, actionable insights is crucial. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal customers at all levels, are necessary. The candidate should be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
