Questel is seeking a Reviewer EN-CN to join our translation team in Tianjin, China. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and quality of patent document translations from English to Chinese across various technical fields, including chemical engineering, bio-pharmaceuticals, electronic machinery, mobile communications, and automobile manufacturing.

The primary responsibilities include reviewing translated patent documents to detect and correct errors in meaning, terminology, spelling, grammar, and style. The reviewer will ensure that translations accurately reflect the source content and adhere to client-specific and country-specific publication standards. Additionally, the role involves managing translation memories and term bases to maintain consistency and quality across projects.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or higher, with a background in chemical engineering, chemistry, food, pharmaceuticals, computer science, or electronic communications. Alternatively, individuals with an English major and substantial experience in science and engineering fields are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in English, demonstrated by CET-6, TEM-4, or TEM-8 certifications, is required. Prior experience in English translation or reviewing is preferred.
