Responsibilities also include timely communication of technical progress and issues to project managers, adherence to internal quality control and documentation procedures, and contributing as a technical specialist or advisor on various projects. Additionally, the manager will play a role in strategic initiatives aimed at growing the roadway group.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of seven years of engineering experience. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, and experience with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is preferred. Proficiency in software relevant to roadway design and a strong understanding of applicable codes and standards governing roadway design are essential.
