Roadway Project Manager

Benesch is seeking an experienced Roadway Project Manager to join our Raleigh, NC team. As a key member of our transportation division, you will lead the design and delivery of roadway, highway, and interstate infrastructure projects for NCDOT, local municipalities, and private clients. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that enhance infrastructure and communities.

In this position, you will oversee transportation design projects from concept through construction. Responsibilities include managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes. Collaboration across disciplines is essential to develop comprehensive solutions. Additionally, you will engage in business development activities such as proposal development, networking, and presentations, and represent the company at public meetings and conferences.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field and possesses a North Carolina PE license or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity. A minimum of 12 years of experience in roadway, highway, or interstate design is required. Strong leadership, project management, and client engagement skills are essential. Experience with NCDOT projects and the public bidding process is advantageous.
