S&O Manager, Growth & Marketing
As a Strategy & Operations Manager in Global Marketing at Wolt, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficient growth by providing data-driven support to shape and optimize our global growth and marketing strategies. Your focus will encompass various consumer topics, including customer acquisition, user activity, user retention, and the adoption of new verticals on a global scale. Collaborating closely with Marketing Leadership and stakeholders across the company, you will have the opportunity to delve into consumer growth, identify investment opportunities, and ensure efficient budget allocation to maximize ROI through rigorous monitoring of key performance metrics. Your ability to blend analytical problem-solving with business acumen and creative strategic thinking will be critical in steering our company toward sustained long-term success.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders to drive our Growth and Efficiency Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), focusing on areas such as new customer acquisition, retention, user activity, and cost per acquisition (CPA). You will evaluate the impact of selected marketing tactics, track brand performance, and develop marketing funnel strategies to improve awareness and consideration of Wolt. Additionally, you will facilitate weekly business review meetings, collaborate daily with Regional Marketing Directors and Regional Heads of Strategy & Planning, and provide data-driven insights for the allocation of our marketing budget across various channels, funnel stages, and incentives, both online and offline, to optimize platform growth. Managing global business development projects, such as building new investment frameworks and scaling them across markets, and leading global acceleration initiatives driven by the growth and marketing teams to ensure consistent execution and impact are also key aspects of this role. Furthermore, you will facilitate knowledge exchange and maximize performance by collecting and sharing best practices across different regions and markets.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of work experience in similar industries, consulting, investment banking, technology, or related fields. Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and growth strategy is a plus. You should enjoy solving problems, be comfortable with data, possess solid analytical skills, and have experience with online analytical tools, with SQL knowledge being advantageous. Experience in forecasting, financial planning, and budget allocation is essential. An analytical approach to using data to design, develop, and execute marketing strategies is required, along with excellent Excel and data handling skills. Strong attention to detail, the ability to own projects, work independently, and seek guidance when needed are important. A proactive attitude, willingness to get hands-on, and prior experience in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on achieving targets and getting things done are crucial. Clear and concise communication skills in both written and verbal forms, with fluency in English, are necessary.
