Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative at Dialpad, you will be an integral part of our sales team, focusing on building prospect lists, managing pipelines, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Dialpad's AI-powered communication products. This role involves close collaboration with Account Executives to develop tailored prospecting strategies and vertical campaigns specific to your assigned territory. You will engage with potential clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and social media, to generate new business opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities will include making over 50 outbound calls daily, supplemented by email outreach, to identify and connect with ideal target personas. You will be expected to consistently meet or exceed quotas for sales-qualified opportunities, contributing directly to the success of the Account Executive team. Embracing a growth mindset, you will prioritize sales enablement activities and be eager to learn and implement various sales methodologies such as SPICED and BANT. Proficiency in navigating sales tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and Dialpad is essential. Additionally, you will work closely with your manager, peers, and Account Executives to refine messaging, processes, and daily activities.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a Sales Development or similar customer-facing role. You should be efficient, organized, and detail-oriented, with a high level of motivation and commitment to achieving both individual and team success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with a demonstrated sense of curiosity, motivation, and resourcefulness. Experience in SaaS sales is preferred but not mandatory.
