Sales Development Representative (Spanish & Portuguese Speaker)
Canonical is seeking a Sales Development Representative fluent in Spanish and Portuguese to join our Americas team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat, execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns, and travel to events and conferences worldwide to present at booths and drive face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities. Collaborating across multiple teams and senior stakeholders, you will work directly with marketing on campaigns, research information about prospective customers, generate a multi-million dollar pipeline, identify prospects and market trends, help define team processes and policies, liaise with new and existing customers, and accurately create, update, maintain, and nurture leads on global opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic results at school and university, a passion for business and technology, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. You should be curious, flexible, and scientific in your approach, with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a result-driven mindset with an over-achiever spirit, and persistence and perseverance are essential.
