The Sales Engineer III - Microsoft Security role at Huntress is a strategic position focused on enhancing technical alliances, particularly with Microsoft Security and cloud partners. This role involves collaborating closely with alliances and channel leadership to develop joint technical value propositions and acting as the primary technical expert for Microsoft Security integrations and co-sell opportunities.
Key responsibilities include defining and refining how Huntress complements and extends Microsoft Security solutions such as Defender, Entra ID, and M365 in customer environments. The role also involves architecting and validating end-to-end telemetry flows into SIEM/log platforms, leading technical portions of joint customer calls, and building reusable technical assets, demos, and training materials to support alliance engagements.
Candidates should have 5–7+ years of experience in roles directly aligned to Microsoft Security and cloud, with hands-on experience in Defender, Entra ID/Azure AD, M365, Sentinel/Log Analytics, and related workloads. Demonstrated success in co-sell or alliance motions with large platform vendors and practical experience enabling and routing Microsoft cloud telemetry into SIEM/log solutions are essential.
The compensation range for this position is $205,000 to $215,000 on-target earnings (80/20 split) plus equity.
