Sales Manager / Vertriebsmitarbeiter, Retail (m/w/d)
Wolt is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to spearhead the expansion of our retail partnerships in Berlin and Hamburg. As a key member of our Sales & Merchant Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating a diverse range of retail partners, including supermarkets and non-food venues, into our platform. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of quick-commerce in Germany.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring top-tier retail partners, negotiating optimal terms, and ensuring their successful onboarding onto the Wolt platform. Your week will typically involve 1–2 days of strategic planning and cold calling from home, complemented by 3–4 days of fieldwork in southern Germany, which may include occasional overnight stays. Collaboration with the onboarding team will be essential to accurately represent our partners on the platform.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sales experience, particularly in field sales, with a strong aptitude for cold outreach and face-to-face negotiations. Exceptional adaptability is crucial, as you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from small business owners to C-level executives. A performance-driven mindset, excellent self-organization skills, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude are essential. Fluency in German and proficiency in English are required, along with a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
