The Seasonal Inventory Specialist at GHX is responsible for managing medical and surgical supplies, including pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This role involves accurately counting, stocking, and auditing these supplies, as well as installing and maintaining 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The position is temporary and requires extensive travel across the United States.

Key responsibilities include capturing inventory count data using the HITS program, performing inventory counts to ensure all items are accounted for, reporting discrepancies to the Team Leader, assembling and adjusting inventory storage racks, carts, and shelving, and organizing and stocking inventory shelving as directed by supervisors and hospital staff. The role also involves labeling bins and carts, maintaining a high level of competency in utilizing technology for inventory data capture, and collaborating with various teams while working on projects.

Candidates should have a high school education or GED, with the ability to meet required standards to work within a hospital, including background checks, drug tests, and medical vaccinations. A state-issued driver's license and clean driving record are preferred, along with reliable transportation and the ability to travel extensively. Proficiency in using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of various teams. Acute attention to detail, versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities are also important.

The compensation for this role ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. This hourly rate is part of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
