Seasonal Inventory Specialist – Nationwide Travel

The Seasonal Inventory Specialist at GHX plays a pivotal role in managing medical and surgical supplies, ensuring their accurate counting, stocking, and auditing. This position also involves overseeing 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems, which are integral to GHX's mission of simplifying healthcare supply chains. As a temporary role, it requires extensive travel to various healthcare facilities across the United States.

Daily responsibilities include capturing inventory data using the HITS program, performing thorough inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies to the Team Leader. The specialist is also tasked with assembling and adjusting inventory storage racks, installing carts at designated locations, and organizing inventory shelving in collaboration with hospital staff. Additionally, the role involves labeling supplies and bins, ensuring all items are accurately documented and stored.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to meet hospital standards, including background checks and medical vaccinations. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred, along with reliable transportation and the ability to travel extensively. Proficiency in inventory management software, acute attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Compensation for this role ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This hourly rate is part of GHX's comprehensive compensation package, which includes benefits such as retirement plans.
