Securities Associate

Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Securities Associate to join its team in New York or Washington, D.C. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic securities group, contributing to a broad practice platform that emphasizes both professional growth and individual client attention.

The Securities Associate will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, capital markets, and Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs). The role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic advice to clients on complex securities matters.

Candidates must have between 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience in the aforementioned areas, gained at a midsize or large law firm. Strong academic credentials, along with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, are essential. Admission to practice and good standing with either the New York or D.C. Bar is required.

The salary for this position ranges from $230,000 to $270,000 annually, depending on experience and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
