Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This role involves managing the firm's daily operations and providing essential support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include performing administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. The Litigation Assistant will also maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additional tasks involve collecting and organizing evidence for attorney review, drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting legal research, managing client billing, and coordinating meetings with clients and witnesses.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a legal setting, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
